Oxford Instruments ground breaking at Central Approach, Bristol
Trebor Developments and partner, Hillwood, are on site to deliver Oxford Instruments Nanotechnology Tools Limited new, bespoke, manufacturing and office development, which will be located at the Central Approach site, Bristol.
A&H Construction have been appointed as Main Contractor to deliver this project, which will also include a speculative unit on the adjacent site.
Mark Wright, Partner at Trebor Developments, said: “Following the conclusion of this significant pre-let and a period of very close work between the Trebor/Hillwood and the Oxford Instruments’ team we are delighted to commence construction of such a prestigious advanced manufacturing facility. The building will comprise 107,660 sq ft with an extensive additional fit out”.
James Drew, Development Director at Trebor Developments, said: “In addition to the Oxford Instruments’ scheme, we have commenced construction of a speculative industrial building of 113,452 sq ft. The unit will be constructed to a high specification with a minimum eaves height of 12m, a yard depth of up to 70m, fitted office accommodation with shower facilities, EV charging points, 89 car parking spaces and benefits from a 1MVA power supply. The unit will be available for occupation this year”.
